Job Description
The Company: My client is an industry leader in their space supporting Australia's largest construction and infrastructure projects. With activity in this space booming, my client has forecast continued growth of over 5% year on year at a current turnover in excess of $1 billion. With this growth projected my client is looking to increase the capacity of the finance team.
The Role: - Oversee the full collections process, minimize risks (bad debts and fraud), and ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures.
- Conduct annual reviews of Credit policies for continuous improvement and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Support Shared Services and business projects, promoting the integration of technology and automation to streamline credit and collections processes.
- Lead a team of 6 Collections Officers.
You're Skills & Expertise : - Strong background in Accounts Receivable with a focus on collections and managing high volumes effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to resolving billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account disputes.
- High level of accuracy in processing and reconciling accounts to ensure smooth operations.
- Outgoing personality with a proven ability to work well in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
