Job Description
Our client is a Sydney-based property fund manager specialising in acquisitions, asset management, and enhancing the value of their real estate portfolio within Greater Sydney.
We're seeking an accomplished
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and drive financial strategy, compliance, and operational excellence.
This is more than just a finance role—you’ll be at the centre of shaping our future, leading a professional team, managing critical relationships, and ensuring the seamless integration of financial systems to support our ambitious growth plans.
Remuneration: $200,000-230,000 + Super + Bonus As our CFO, you’ll oversee a range of dynamic and impactful responsibilities:
Executive Leadership - Lead and inspire a professional team to deliver outstanding results.
- Prepare and oversee annual business plans and budgets for corporate and asset-owning entities.
- Ensure compliance with APRA and ASIC regulations, including AFSL obligations.
- Manage relationships with investors, accountants, and tax advisors.
- Drive efficiency through business administration and systems implementation.
Asset Management and Company Accounting - Administer trust and client services, including calculating and distributing trust income.
- Provide financial reporting to property owners and ensure compliance with tax obligations.
- Oversee month-end reporting, consolidating group results, and providing budget comparisons.
- Coordinate the financial onboarding of new acquisitions and integrate them seamlessly.
- Treasury and Debt Management
Financial Forecasting and Modelling - Build and maintain financial models for liquidity, cash flow, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop portfolio-level models to monitor equity returns, debt compliance, and cash flow.
- Conduct scenario modelling for refinancing, disposals, leasing, and capital expenditure decisions.
Institutional Reporting - Collaborate with institutional partners to provide support for joint venture investments.
- Prepare detailed performance analysis and tailored reports to meet partner requirements
