The role
Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will start as a stand-alone position with the opportunity to manage staff in the future as the business expands. The core elements of the role include
- Preparation of group consolidated budgets and forecasts
- Preparation and communication of variance analysis across the group
- Partnering with department heads on operational performance, costs, pricing, revenue etc
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and drive improvements in systems, processes, data and reporting
- Collaborate with multiple teams and functions to meet time-sensitive deadlines and develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure KPI reports are accurate, relevant and contribute to value-add analysis including preparing ad hoc business analysis.
In addition, the business is looking to acquire other entities with synergies to its core product. You will have the opportunity to get involved in the due diligence through to entity integration of any acquisitions. There will also be a number of process improvement operationally driven projects to get involved in along the way.
About you
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience within an FP&A or Commercial Finance function
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Audit or strong financial control background is highly regarded
