Job Description
Join this highly acquisitive global insurance and investment group with a strong track record in developing niche insurance and financial services assets. We seek a Head of Finance Finance with strong experience in financial management, systems and process implementation to build a robust financial platform to support organic and acquisitive growth.
Role Overview:Reporting to the CEO as Head of Finance you'll be instrumental in implementing financial processes and systems to support the financial management of the business and driving strategic insights across the current portfolio. You will also evaluate future investment opportunities and acquisition targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the business’s financial performance insight framework: including necessary financial modelling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Operations & Risk Management: Develop operational reports, ensure timely reporting of transactions, monitor KPIs, and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Market & Portfolio Support: Stay updated with market trends. Present financial and operational analysis including the development of both Finance and Operations dashboards to provide visibility on performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, drive accountability, and manage evolving requirements.
- Technology & Systems Management: Oversee reporting systems, and leverage technology and data analytics to enhance financial reporting and risk assessment processes
Ideal Candidate: - Experience: 8 + years in financial services, preferably insurance
- Expertise in financial reporting and operations management.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, commercially minded, critical thinker, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
