As the Payroll Manager, your duties will include:
- Oversee several weekly and monthly payrolls across multiple entities
- Lead a team of 2 payroll officers
- Interpret the awards to ensure any award changes are complied with
- Ensure the integrity of all master data and records
- Manage all aspects of Employment Hero.
- Handle escalated queries
- PAYG
- STP reporting
- Third-party payments
- All reporting and reconciliations
- Suggest process improvements to the current Payroll function
- Work in collaboration with other stakeholders to implement change
The ideal candidate will have some exposure to people management/leadership (perhaps in an unofficial capacity) and be ready to take on the title and full responsibility of Payroll manager and its related requirements. The role will especially suit someone in the first phase of their career, ready to take the next step on the career ladder. The CFO will also fully support and mentor you to ensure a successful transition.
The impressive office is based in Inner West Sydney, approximately a 10-minute walk from Central Station. On offer is a salary of circa $120,000 + superannuation, hybrid working, and plenty of fun & good times every day.
