The Role:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, ensuring consistent and reliable service
- Process accurate and timely payroll for contractors from start to finish
- Manage all associated statutory requirements including superannuation, payroll tax, and compliance obligations
- Onboarding processes for both contractors and internal employees
- Act as a key point of contact for payroll and timesheet-related queries from clients and contractors
- Support the documentation of workflows and help identify areas for process enhancement
- Assist with general bookkeeping duties for clients when required
- Ensure all payroll activities meet current legislation and company compliance standards
The Candidate: - Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing contractor payroll in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of Modern Awards and state/industry-specific employment regulations
- High level of accuracy and a sharp eye for detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident using a range of payroll and accounting software, along with advanced Excel and Word skills
